Mimi is a community-minded professional, driven by a lifelong desire to unleash the good in people and improve society both in Israel and around the world.
Mimi was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, and graduated high school in Northern California. She earned a B.A. from York University in Toronto and spent most of her time in a leadership role in the Jewish Students Network, while making Swiss truffles on the side for her family business Chocolate Charm. She then moved to Israel where she developed Jewish student leadership and graduated with an M.A. in International Relations from Hebrew University of Jerusalem, specializing in European Union Trade Policy.
After achieving executive positions in business development and strategic marketing in the growing Israeli High-Tech start-up sector, Mimi joined efforts at leading nonprofits such as the Jewish Agency, the World Union of Jewish Students, and the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC).
