Nini Czopp’s Story

Nini Czopp was named for the organization’s first staff Social Worker. The Jewish community of Holland was mostly wiped out by the Nazis and their Dutch collaborators during the Holocaust. The post-war remorseful government was financially generous in helping those who survived the atrocities.

Originally founded to service the ex-pat Dutch Holocaust Survivors in Israel, Nini Czopp was expanding to also support Survivors from other European countries. Nini Czopp was initially funded by the Dutch government, but those funds are not being fully renewed, even while many Survivors are aging and in need of more help than ever.
