OTC’s Role: To help AYF move from many clusters of small social initiatives into a professional organization that systematically recruits and manages volunteers and programs.

Am Yisrael Foundation’s Story
Businessman, social philanthropist, and Zionist Jay Shultz arrived in Tel Aviv from the USA in 2006 and sought a professional community group, like the ones he knew from New York. He found none. “Community is like family. It provides a cushion of love and support. When I moved here people had nowhere to plug in and network.” Jay became the ‘go to’ guy for new social ventures. He created the Am Yisrael Foundation (AYF) umbrella to loosely tie them all together, for the international community of young adults in Tel Aviv.
